  1. Joe, my brother and I were discussing packs for cameras, just wondering when you run with the full-size DSLR, how do you carry it? i.e. what pack? Thank, Jeff

    • Hey Jeff – I use a variety of packs. Recently, I’ve been using Arc’teryx Arios 7 because it fits me well and is easy to get in and out of. What I look for is something that fits me and the camera well and that is comfortable for extended outings. I end up testing and using a variety of packs and vests. It really just depends how much other stuff you’re looking to bring too. In winter for instance, I use the Cierzo 25 a lot because I’m usually carrying climbing gear as well as extra layers. Despite not being designed for running it carries very well for loads up to 15lbs. Sometimes I’ll also carry the camera in my hand for extended periods of times if there’s a lot to shoot.
